Founding Senior Leader

Apostle Michael Da Costa is the Senior Leader of New Nation Destiny Centre, serving with a prophetic voice and an apostolic grace to build, strengthen, and equip the Body of Christ. His passion is to see the Kingdom of God established and flourishing in local communities, across the nation, and throughout the world.

At the heart of his ministry is a servant's heart and a deep desire to see the Church united. He is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships among church leaders and encouraging the Body of Christ to walk together in unity, purpose, and love. Through the ministry of New Nation Destiny Centre, Apostle Michael is committed to equipping believers for works of service and empowering them to fulfil their God-given calling.

Having experienced the life-changing power of salvation, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and a personal encounter with God's transforming grace, Apostle Michael carries a passion to see others develop a deep intimacy with Christ and walk confidently in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Together with his late wife, Marlene Da Costa, Apostle Michael founded and pioneered New Nation Destiny Centre with a vision to raise disciples, develop leaders, and establish Kingdom-focused ministries that would impact communities and nations for the glory of God.

As part of this vision, Apostle Michael established the ARC Alliance (Apostolic Relationship Council)—a network created to provide Kingdom-minded leaders and Five-Fold ministers with a safe and supportive environment where they can build authentic relationships, encourage one another, and develop lasting covenant partnerships for the advancement of God's Kingdom.

Pastor Marlene Da Costa

Co-Founder and Former Senior Pastor late Wife of Apostle Michael Da Costa

Pastor Marlene Da Costa was a devoted servant of God, a loving wife and mother, and a faithful leader whose life reflected unwavering faith, courage, and compassion. Together with her husband, Apostle Michael Da Costa, she co-founded New Nation Destiny Centre, helping to establish a ministry dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of God and equipping believers to fulfil their God-given purpose.

For ten years, Pastor Marlene courageously battled cancer with extraordinary faith and unwavering hope. Through every challenge, she remained steadfast in her trust in God, inspiring countless people with her strength, grace, and testimony. Her life demonstrated that even in the midst of adversity, God's faithfulness remains constant.

Pastor Marlene was deeply passionate about seeing the Church become a righteous, Spirit-filled people who reflected the heart and character of Christ. She longed to see believers encounter God's presence in a fresh and powerful way, believing that transformed lives would bring transformation to communities and generations.

Gifted with a keen prophetic insight and spiritual discernment, she encouraged and nurtured those whom God had called, helping to raise leaders and strengthen the Body of Christ. Her wisdom, love, and unwavering commitment to God's Kingdom continue to leave a lasting legacy within New Nation Destiny Centre and beyond.

Although Pastor Marlene entered the presence of her Saviour on 4 September 2022, her life, faith, and ministry continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the church she helped build, and the Kingdom she faithfully served.

Pastor Michelle Maria Da Costa

In August 2025, Apostle Michael Da Costa married Pastor Michelle Maria Da Costa, following a season of prayer, wisdom, and God's leading. Their marriage was celebrated and blessed with the love, encouragement, and counsel of their spiritual covering, Dr Jonathan David and Pastor Helen David, together with many trusted covenant friends and ministry partners.

Their union has brought renewed joy, hope, and grace to their lives and families. Together, they continue to serve as the senior leaders of New Nation Destiny Centre with a shared commitment to the vision and calling God has entrusted to the ministry.

Pastor Michelle has a compassionate and nurturing heart, bringing wisdom, encouragement, and strength to both the church family and the wider ministry. She is passionate about seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ and discover the purpose God has placed upon their lives.

With great honour and respect for the lasting legacy of the late Pastor Marlene Da Costa, Pastor Michelle is committed to building upon the strong spiritual foundations that have already been established. Together with Apostle Michael, she looks forward to seeing New Nation Destiny Centre continue to flourish, impacting lives, strengthening families, equipping leaders, and advancing the Kingdom of God for generations to come.

Our Spiritual Covering

New Nation Destiny Centre is privileged to be under the spiritual covering of Dr. Jonathan David and Pastor Helen David, founders and Senior Pastors of All Nations Sanctuary (formerly Full Gospel Centre) in Muar, Johor, Malaysia.

Dr. Jonathan David is internationally recognised as one of the pioneering voices in the modern prophetic movement. Through his accurate prophetic ministry, apostolic leadership, and insightful biblical teaching, he has equipped and encouraged churches and leaders across the nations to fulfil God's purposes in this generation.

He also serves as the Presiding Apostle of the International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches (ISAAC), a global network of apostolic churches and ministry leaders committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through strategic leadership, discipleship, and church partnership.

As a respected author, Dr. Jonathan David has influenced leaders worldwide through his teaching, including his well-known book, Apostolic Strategies Affecting Nations, which has helped shape apostolic and prophetic ministry across many nations.

For many years, Dr. Jonathan David and Pastor Helen David have faithfully served as spiritual parents, mentors, and trusted voices in the lives of Apostle Michael Da Costa and the late Pastor Marlene Da Costa. Their wisdom, encouragement, and faithful oversight have played a significant role in the growth and development of New Nation Destiny Centre.
